ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The clamping mechanism for an electrical immersion heater is designed so that it can be easily assembled using automatic machines. The head of the screw is located on the outside of the disc shaped body member so that it can be easily engaged by the tool, as well as to provide a low profile for the device. The inner end of the screw is operably connected to a captive nut located within the confines of a yoke member.
