Abstract This invention relates to binary mixtures of an interferon of the alpha, beta or gamma type with tumour necrosis factor, and to ternary mixtures of an interferon of the alpha or beta type with an interferon of the gamma type and tumour necrosis factor. The mixtures show a higher cytostatic and/or cytotoxic effect on transformed cells than could be expected on the basis of the activities of the individual components.
