ABSTRACT This invention relates to the manufacturing of a monobloc bundle of straight tubes, laterally contiguous and fixed together at one or at both ends. The manufacturing process consists of forming a bundle of tubes laterally contiguous but not fixed together, of cutting the bundle perpendicular to the axis of the tubes, and of fixing together the ends of the tubes in the plane of the cut. The bundle of tubes can be used to make the core of a sandwich panel.
