ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of extending the vase life of fresh cut flowers, comprising cutting the flowers when they are in a tight bud stage, ranging from a closed bud to about one-half inch of color showing above the bud calyx; and, thereafter placing the cut stem in a small but effective vase life extending amount, of an aqueous solution of amino- oxyacetic acid.
