ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hand tool for rapidly removing lids from plastic buckets without damage to either bucket or lid. The tool includes an elongated bar with a handle at one end, a fulcrum near the center and a hook section on the second end for inserting between the bucket and the lid ring. Vertical movement of the handle rapidly snaps the lid from the bucket.
