ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A resilient bushing for placement within an aper- ture opening in a brake element for receipt of an axially translatable pin therethrough, includes first and second axially adjacent, cylindrical portions, the first portion in- cluding a flange whereby the bushing is positioned within the aperture opening and the second portion defining an axial cavity including a generally cylindrical inner wall having a diameter greater than that of the pin, and at least two annular ribs protruding from and circumscribing the inner wall and having an effective minimum inside diameter less than the diameter of the pin whereby the ribs sealingly engage the pin and define therebetween an entrapment zone for the containment of contaminants.
