ABSTRACT: A CURRENT SUPPLY FOR SERIES-FED ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS: A current supply for series-fed electronic circuits, with a shunt Zener diode (Z1) between the input and output of the feed current, a series rectifier diode (D1) and a shunt charging capacitor (C1), where a first controllable impedance (Tr1) is connected between the charging capacitor (C1) and the load (L) and a second controllable impedance (Tr2) is connected parallel to the load. Both the controllable impedances (Tr1, Tr2) are driven by a regulator (RE) which measures and maintains the voltage across the load (L) substantially constant.
