Abstract of the Disclosure A process for polymerizing olefins in the presence of a catalyst composed of: (A) a catalyst component obtained by contacting with one another, (a) a magnesium alkoxide, (b) a silicon compound having a hydrogen-silicon bond, (c) an electron donor compound, and (d) a titanium compound (B) an organic compound of a metal of Groups I and III of the Periodic Table, and (C) an organo silicon compound represented by the formula R?SiX?(OR10)k wherein R9 and R10 are the same or different hydrocarbon groups, X2 is a halogen atom, 0 ? q < 4, 0 ? g < 4, 0 < k ? 4, and q + g + k = 4.
