ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates, as new industrial products, to 3-(aminobenzamido)-propionhydroxamic acids of formula: Image (I) and their acid addition salts. These products are useful in therapeutics on the central nervous system, particularly as sedative agents. The compounds of formula I may be prepared by catalytic hydrogenation of the corresponding 3-(nitro- benzamido)-propionhydroxamic acids.
