Abstract A polyolefin resin composition is produced by pulverizing and surface-treating an inorganic filler together with a surface treatment agent in a dry or semi-dry pulverizing means, mixing the thus- treated inorganic filler with a specified amount of a polyolefin resin and granulating the resultant mixture, and thereafter mixing the thus-obtained granular mixture with an additional granular or pelletized polyolefin resin at a specified ratio.
