A B S T R A C T Braking system for automobile vehicle formed by a tractor and a trailer According to the invention, the braking system includes two tandem master cylinders, the first having a first pressure chamber connected to the left brake of the tractor and a second pressure chamber connected to the trailer brakes and the second having a first pressure chamber connected to the right brake of the tractor and a second pressure chamber likewise connected to the trailer brakes. Application to certain vehicle, particularly to agricul- tural tractors.
