BP-6321 Title AMINOMETHYL OXOOXAZOLIDINYL CYCLOALKYLBENZENE DERIVATIVES USEFUL AS ANTIBACTERIAL AGENTS Abstract of the Disclosure An antibacterial compound having the formula: Image (I) wherein for the ? isomer or racemic mixtures con- taining it B is NH2, Image , Image , or N3; u is 1 or 2; R3 is H, alkyl of 1-10 carbon atoms, or cycloalkyl of 3-8 carbon atoms; R4 is H, alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2-4 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl of 3-4 carbon atoms, or OR5; R5 is alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms; X is CH2, O, S, or NR6; R6 is H or alkyl of 1-4 carbon atoms; n is 1-3; and R1 and R2 taken together are H2, H and OH, =O, H and N(R6)2, -NOH, +NOR5, NO?R4, or Image ; or a pharmaceutically suitable salt thereof; provided that: 1) when n is 2, then X is not S; and 2) when n is 3, then X is not O or NR6.
