PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Latex de polymères d'acétate de vinyle constitués de particules de diamètre moyen compris entre 0,05 et 1 µm de polymères ayant une température de transition vitreuse comprise entre -20 et 50°C, dont la concentration est comprise entre 10 et 70% en poids et qui contiennent un colloïde protecteur constitué par a) un polymère de N-méthylolacryl- amide ou de N-méthylolméthacrylamide soluble dans l'eau et b) un polymère d'éthylène glycol de masse moléculaire com- prise entre 1000 et 50.000 soluble dans l'eau. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de ces latex par polymérisation en émulsion aqueuse, ainsi que leurs applications comme liants dans la fabrication des peintures, colles, papiers, textiles, revêtements de sol, additifs pour mortiers.
