ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Low-current contacts with a thin contact layer on a support must have good resistance to oxidation and wear at a gold content as low as possible. These materials consist of 33 to 50% by weight of palladium, 18 to 48% by weight of silver, 19 to 33% by weight of gold, 0.01 to 1% by weight of iridium and/or osmium and either 0.5 to 5% by weight of lead or 0.5 to 3% by weight of lead and 0.1 to 3% by weight of tin.
