17 ABSTRACT: A colour selection electrode for a colour tele- vision display tube is suspended in the corners of the display window witch the aid of suspension means which comprise a flat resilient element. The resilient element comprises an embossment. The embossment falls partly through a recess in a brace which is connected to the colour selection electrode. This assembly of the embossment and the recess forms a so-called ball joint. As a result of the hinging action of the ball-joint the colour selection electrode is suspended without moments being exerted on the colour selection electrode.
