ABSTRACT PLASTICIZING ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A REINFORCING SKELETON AND INTENDED FOR USE IN AN INJECTING UNIT OF AN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE The reinforcing skeleton comprises skeleton elements, which constitute tracks for engaging stationary rollers for guiding the plasticizing cylinder during the cyclic axial reciprocating motion performed by the in- jecting unit during the injection molding sequence. Said skeleton elements consist of track bars, which are spaced from the central length portion of the plasti- cizing cylinder by radial spacers. One of said spacers consists of a plate, which is secured to the track bars and to the plasticizing cylinder. Two centering spacers are connected to the track bars and surround the plasti- cizing cylinder as a sliding fit. As a result, the guidance of the plasticizing cylinder is improved and it s components can be more easily assembled, Besides, essential functional elements, particularly elements of the heating means and the plug connectors, are more easily accessible for a replacement, for repairs and for an inspection.
