ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cleaning composition is disclosed comprising a mixture of soap, non-soap anionic surfactant and 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxy diphenyl ether. Especially preferred surfactants are acyl isethionate and alkyl glycerol ether sulfonate salts. The ratio of fatty acid salt to surfactant ranges from 4:1 to 1:0.98.
