ABSTRACT A device for determining corrosion in reinforced concrete comprises an electrolytic half cell having an electrode (10) in contact with an electrolyte (11). The electrolyte 111) is in contact with a wheel (16), around which is provided absorbent material (15), by way of a porous plug (13). A voltmeter (14) is connected between the electrode (11) and the reinforcement. As the wheel i rolled along the path, a continuous scan is obtained of the potential of a full cell formed by the half cell, the concrete and the reinforcement, said potential being indicative of such corrosion.
