Abstract of the Disclosure A chlorinated polyolefin having a chlorine content of 15 to 30% by weight which is produced by chlorinating a polyolefin type polymer comprising pro- pylene units and units of an .alpha.-olefin having 4 to 6 carbon atoms in a particular ratio and having a crystal- linity of 10 to 50% and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.8 to 6.0 dl/g. This chlorinated polyolefin can be used as an adhesive for lamination of a chlorine-containing polymer (e.g. a polyvinylidene chloride) and an aromatic polymer (e.g. a polystyrene) and exhibits excellent adhesion characteristics at high temperature atmospheres.
