Abstract of the Disclosure Impulse Generator With regard to an impulse generator having two pairs of contacts and one indexing disk whose indexing notches are capable of moving a central resilient indexing element, quite depending on the direction of rotation, either toward the one or -the other pair of contacts, there is provided according to the invention, for each pair of contacts a separate contact spring assembly (15, 16; 17, 18), the in- dexing disk is positioned either below or above the contact springs (15, 16, 17, 18), and the indexing element is designed as a spiral spring (10) clamped either at one or at both ends, and disposed in such a way that the centerline (14) thereof extends vertically in relation to the direction of the indexing notches (12) with the latter capable of deflect- ing the spiral spring (10) laterally toward the contact springs (15, 16; 17, 18) as well as also into the direction of the indexing notches (12), with the spiral spring (10), quite depending on the lateral deflection, actuating the respective inner contact spring (16, 17) of a contact spring assembly (15,16; 17, 18). This is supposed to result in a small abrasion by wear of the indexing disk,and to safeguard a good contact-making as well as an unobjectionable indexing.
