La composition selon l'invention peut contenir en outre un ou plusieurs filtres solaires UV-B et/ou UV-A. L'utilisation du bis(3,5-diisopropyl-salicylate) de cuivre II permet de réduire l'intensité de l'érythème solaire et le nombre de kératinocytes dégradés, par un phénomène autre qu'une simple filtration.
