MOUNTING FOR REMOTELY CONTROLLED REAR-VIEW MIRROR ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A cable-controlled rear-view mirror comprises a swivel pin having stub shafts which define a first pivot axis and a semi-cylindrical journal slot which cooperates with a semi-cylindrical trunnion on the glass case to define a perpendicular pivot axis. A modified embodiment further stabilizes the mirror against vibration by creating frictional drag between a spring and a hollow sleeve.
