ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Chemical compounds having dopaminergic acitivity of the structural formula Image I in which n is 1-3, each R1 is hydrogen, Cl-6-alkyl, benzyl, allyl, phenethyl or 4-hydroxyphenethyl and R1-3 are, each, hydrogen or Cl-4-alkyl; or an acid addition salt thereof prepared (1) by reductive cyclization of a 2-nitro-6-.omega.-aminoalkylphenylacetic acid, followed by optional alkylation and salt formation, or (2) by dehydroxylation of the 7-hydroxy congener of I followed by optional salt formation.
