ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is provided an improved water mixer fitting having two water inlets, two water inlet valves, a mixing chamber, a mixed water outlet, and at least one actuating element for operation of the water inlet valves. The fitting has an electronic temperature measuring circuit including a temperature sensor arranged in the mixed water outlet, a temperature indicator, and a power source, such as a battery or an accumulator. The temperature measuring circuit incorporates, in addition to the battery or accumulator, one or more solar cells as a further power source. Above a given upper brightness limit only the solar cell or cells are effective as the power source for the temperature measuring circuit.
