PHN 9496 02.06.1980 ABSTRACT: Microphony compensation for a gas-ionization detector. The high voltage source for a high voltage electrode of a gas filled detector in a device for measuring local absorption differences has associated with it an alternating voltage source in order to compensate for microphony interference. The measuring circuit includes a demodulation compensation circuit for selection of the microphony signal and for removing this interference from the measuring signal.
