ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rehabilitation exercise device for exercising the limbs of a patient while the patient is in the supine or raised position. The device comprises an exercise head having a pair of rotatable axles extending from the head. To the axles an appropriate exercise means, such as foot pedals, hand grips or a handle bar may be attached. The head is supported above the surface of a patient support table to receive the limb or limbs of the patient to be exercised. The device is slidably secured to the frame of the table for adjustable positioning along the table. The axles are powered, for example, by a motor with mechanical linkage or hydraulic connection to the axles, the speed of the axles being appropriate controlled. In operation, even when a patient is unconscious, his hands or feet may be associated with the exercise means to provide appropriate movement to the patient's joints and muscles.
