A BUNDLED ROLL OF PRINTED PRODUCTS SUCH AS NEWSPAPERS, PERIODICALS OR THE LIKE. ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bundled roll of printed products such as newspapers, periodicals or the like has a hollow core (12) unto which is wound a roll of the products (3) such as newspapers or magazines, disposed in an imbricated product formation. A bundling strap or the like is maintained under tension on the convolutes of the product to hold the roll together. The axial length of the core is shorter than the width of the product as measured in a direction parallel with the axis of the core. Both ends of the core are inset with respect to the end faces of the role. Thus, a plurality of the rolls can be placed with their faces virtually abutting against each other, to save storage space.
