(Invention de Gérard KOEHLER) Un noyau magnétique (3) entouré par une bobine (1, 2) porte un premier épanouissement polaire (4) formant un entrefer a grande surface avec deux régions (5a, 6a) de deux armatures (5, 6) fixées l'une à l'autre et disposées magnétiquement en parallèle. Le noyau (3) est prolongé au-delà de la bobine et porte à cette extrémité un second épanouissement polaire (9) qui forme avec deux autres régions (5c, 6c) des armatures un second entrefer à grande surface disposé magniquement en série avec le premier. Utilisation pour réaliser un électro- aimant puissant, fiable et peu encombrant. Voir Figure 1.
