STEEL AND PIPE BUNKS FOR DOUBLE TRAILER ASSEMBLIES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pair of bunks for attachment to a double trailer assembly for transporting elongate loads comprises a front bunk for mounting on a first semi trailer and a rear bunk for mounting on a second semi trailer articu- lated to the first. Each of the bunks includes a support frame having an upper flat plate cooperating with a bottom flat plate of a cradle for supporting the load. The sup- port frame of the front bunk includes a king pin on which the front cradle is mounted. The support frame of the rear bunk includes a guide track and slot for a king pin and flange attached to the cradle.
