TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED TANK CONTAINER Abstract In a temperature-controlled tank container, the cylindrical tank shell is surrounded at a uniform close spacing by an insulating jacket, wherein the space between tank surface and insulating jacket in divided into helical flow passageways by means of division webs which extend along helical paths and also have the function of reinforcing the tank shell otherwise afforded by reinforcing rings. Said passageways are in communication with inlet and outlet portholes provided on one end face for a temperature control medium which flows around the entire tank surface.
