ABSTRACT Artificial insemination Apparatus, especially for Hens Mr. Robert CASSOU Mr. Maurice CASSOU Mr. Bertrand CASSOU The invention relates to apparatus of the kind comprising a holder which has a cylindrical passage (3) with which are associated a member (4) for ejecting the semen and also a reservoir tube (I4) containing semen which is fixed by a grip (I6) relative to this passage, so as to be disposed at the front of the holder. The problem is to reduce the cost of such apparatus. In accordance with the invention, the reservoir tube (I4) is fitted directly onto the holder (I) by fitting the rear end (I4a) of the tube onto a snout (2a) solid with the holder (I) and surrounding the passage (3), the reservoir tube presenting a convergent front end for self-supporting insertion into the animal.
