ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conveyor belt cleaner is disclosed which comprises a body with cleaner elements attached side by side to the body, each cleaner element consisting of a blade, a blade holder attached to the body and a torsion spring element located between the blade and the blade holder. The blade consists of an upper part which is pressed against the underside of the return belt of a conveyor belt and a lower part which is disposed at an angle relative to the upper part and attached to the torsion spring element. The blade is of uniform width from its lower edge to the upper edge which presses against the conveyor belt.
