ABSTRACT A method of combating fungus at a locus and/or combating or regulating plant growth at a locus, characterised in that it comprises applying to the locus a compound of the general formula Image (I) in which one of R1 or R2 represents an optionally substituted 6- membered heteroaromatic ring containing 1 or 2 nitrogen atoms, and the other of R1 and R2 also represents such a ring or repre- sents an optionally substituted phenyl group; R3 represents an acyl group derived from a carboxylic acid; and R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; or an acid addition salt, N-oxide or metal salt complex thereof.
