PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION La présente invention concerne de nouveaux polymères thermostables comportant des groupements imides. Plus précisément, ces polymères sont obtenus par réaction entre un ou plusieurs N,N'-bis-imides maléiques, une ou plusieurs diamines biprimaires encombrées du type diamino-4, 4' tétraalkyl-3,3',5,5' diphénylméthane ou diamino-1,3 ou - 1,4 trialkylbenzène, éventuellement un ou plusieurs monomères autres qu'un bis-imide et comportant une ou plusieurs doubles liaisons carbone-carbone polymérisables et éventuellement un composé du type imidazole. Ces polymères sont utilisés pour la réalisation notamment d'objets moulés, de stratifiés et d'articles à structure cellulaire.
