Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to novel substituted 1H-pyrazole[1,5-a] pyrimidines of formula I Image (I) wherein R1 is an unsubstituted or substituted pyridyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl ring, a benzyl group or an alkyl group, R2 and R3 are each hydrogen, halogen or an alkyl group, R4 is hydrogen, alkyl or phenyl, R5 is a substituted amino group or a hydroxy or alkoxy group, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The compounds display anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity.
