ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a process for produc- ing compounds having the general formula Image I wherein X represents the group >CO or >CH(OH), R2 represents hy- drogen or a C1-C6 alkyl group and R3 hydrogen or a hydroxy group and R1 represents the adamantyl radical or a saturated or mono- unsaturated C3-C16 cycloalkyl radical and said C3-C16 cycloalkyl radical can also be substituted by a C1-C4 alkyl group or a halo- gen atom, and their acid addition salts by reacting corresponding N,N'-methylene-bis-oxazolidines with ketones having the formula R1-CO-C(R2)H2 in an acid medium and, when required, followed by reduction.
