A telephone terminal apparatus is coupled to the main apparatus by a local telephone line, and has components for controlling the auxiliary information supplied from the main apparatus on the basis of the operation auxiliary information. The components are able to register a predetermined mode corresponding to the auxiliary information in the telephone terminal apparatus.
