The preferred compositions comprise a poly- phenylene ether, a high impact polystyrene, a styrene- ethylene/butylene-styrene copolymer, a poly(ethylene- co-methacrylic acid) and a poly(styrene-co-glycidyl methacrylate), and optionally polyethylene.
