Plastic Well with Plastic Well Adapter Abstract A plastic well assembly includes a plastic well casing with a hole that is disposed therethrough transversely to a casing axis. An adapter plug assembly is disposed inside the casing and is forced toward the hole by a plastic looking cam that is a part of the adapter plug assembly. The looking cam is retched by a pin or by a cam follower-retainer that serves both to transmit the force of the locking cam to the well casing and to retain the looking cam. The adapter plug assembly is supported by a plastic support plate that engages the top of the easing, and a well cap covers the support plate. Optionally a cap-to-casing adapter with screened passageways is provided to allow the well to breathe, a sealed support plate assembly is provided, and/or provision is made to lock the well cap to the casing with a padlock. A plastic saddle is disposed outside the casing and is bonded over the hole in the casing.
