ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A variably unbalanced rotating mechanism comprising a frame, a main shaft having a longitudinal axis and supported on the frame for rotation about the longitudinal axis, a drive for rotating the main shaft, first and second eccentric weights mounted for rotation coaxially with the main shaft, and a mechanism for rotating the weights in common with the main shaft and for selectively rotating the weights in opposite directions relative to each other and relative to the main shaft and independently of main shaft rotation.
