ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gaseous fuel-air mixture device for an internal combus- tion engine having an intake for a fuel-air mixture. A chamber for mixing gaseous fuel and air is provided above the intake. The gaseous fuel is uniformly injected into the mixture chamber from an aperture in the chamber wall. The quantity of air mixed with the gaseous fuel in the mixture chamber is controlled by adjusting the height of a control plate disposed above the chamber.
