ABSTRACT In a stoppered cask of plastic, consisting of two or more parts that are welded together, and having a body, a base and a cover, which has openings that are recessed in depressions, there is on the inner surface of each depression of the cover a barrier that is molded in one piece from the body in an arc around the associated cap opening to as to form a trap lip for a residual quantity of the contents of the cask. Thus, when the cask is tilted it is possible to empty it entirely. In the area about the cap opening the barrier is lower than in the areas at the body, so that the barrier does not make it more difficult to clean the cask.
