PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION Un faux-plafond comporte une nappe tendue qui est accrochée, le long de ses bords, à un cadre support horizontal constitué de profilés aboutés, fixés aux murs d'une pièce. Au-dessus de la nappe est prévu un dispositif permettant d'exercer sur la nappe, en au moins un point de celle-ci, un effort vertical réglable. Pour faciliter le réglage de cet effort vertical et par conséquent modifier aisément l'aspect de la nappe, le dispositif exerçant l'effort vertical réglable comprend un câble passant sur une poulie fixée au plafond de la pièce. Ce câble comporte un brin vertical qui agit à son extrémité inférieure, sur la nappe, pour exercer sur celle-ci l'effort vertical réglable, et un brin incliné ou brin de manoeuvre est accroché au mur, au-dessus du cadre support, à ce cadre support ou au plafond.
