ABSTRACT Novel compounds, e.g., N-(5,7-dimethyl-1,2,4- -triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-2-yl)-2,5-dichlorobenzene sulfonamide having the formula Image and their compositions and use in the broadspectrum pre- and/or postemergent control of weeds as well as in selective weed control in crops such as wheat.
