Abstract: MIXING VALVE A steam and water mixing valve having a permanently open fluid connection between a water inlet chamber and a mixing chamber and valve means for controlling the flow of steam from a steam inlet chamber to the mixing chamber wherein the valve means is responsive to pressure differentials between the water inlet chamber and a control chamber each connected to a water inlet whereby the valve means is closed in the absence of water flow or at low pressure differentials.
