TRAIN FOR LAYING A NEW RAILROAD TRACK ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This train for laying a new railroad track comprises a single working truck and a plurality of cars for storing the cross-ties. The working truck carries means for transporting and laying the cross-ties and also means for positioning the rails on the platform or ballast. The front bogie of the working truck bears on a translation device sliding or rolling in the rail-seats cut in the new railless ties. The tie laying device is supported in overhanging relationship by the front end of the truck together with a device for levelling and/or tamping the platform or the ballast. (Refer to Figure 1).
