TITLE Fluid Flow System For Paint Spray Guns ABSTRACT A fluid flow control device for a spray gun which feeds paint to the spray gun at an exact flow rate; the components of this device are a two position valve which permits paint flow to the spray gun when the gun is activated and recycles paint back to a paint reservoir, a valve operator means which activates the valve, a gear pump which pumps paint at an exact flow rate to the spray gun, a motor speed controller attached to the gear pump with a feed back circuit to monitor motor speed and an input means such as manual keyboard with a computer or a computer which feeds flow data to the motor speed controller. The device is useful for controlling the flow of paint to spray robots used on automotive and truck manufacturing lines an automatic spray machines which are computer controlled.
