14506 Abstract of the Disclosure A panel door comprising framing members, corner connectors and a door panel is disclosed. The framing members comprise a side wall and spaced apart first and second walls extending generally normal to the side wall. The first and second walls form a channel. The framing member comprises a deflection arm which is deflected by and which generates a return force against a door panel having an edge inserted into the front channel. Preferred framing members have a generally "E" shaped cross section and comprise a side wall and spaced apart front, intermediate and rear walls, the front and intermediate walls form a front channel and the intermediate wall comprises a deflection arm. The deflection arm of preferred stiles extends from a pivot position between the edges of the intermediate wall toward the front and side walls. The deflection arm of preferred rails is bent at a position between its edges and extends from the bend away from the side wall and toward the plane of the front wall.
