ABSTRACT A powder-feeding apparatus for carrier-gas delivery of a pow- der to be supplied to a torch or the like in loose particulate form has a plurality of carrier-gas lines connected to the torch, and means for supplying predetermined flows of carrier-gas in those lines. A single powder-fluidizing chamber has independent fluidized-powder discharge-port connections to the respective carrier-gas lines. There is a powder supply means associated with the chamber and a fluidized gas supply for the chamber. The fluidized gas supply is distinct and apart from the carrier- gas lines and includes a regulating valve the setting of which determines the rates of carrier-gas assimilation of powder from the chamber into the respective carrier-gas lines.
