Abstract A carton (20) having a body portion (21) and in- tegral self-locking closures (22, 23) at its ends. The closures have outer flaps (43, 44, 87, 90) and inner flaps (39, 40, 83, 84), with slots (63, 70, 103, 104, 106, 107) to engage lock tabs (61, 62, 66, 67, 74, 75, 81, 82, 112, 113, 116, 117), which retain the closures in closed posi- tion. An internal liner (122) may be provided, and cer- tain tabs (212, 213, 216, 217) and slots (203, 204, 206, 207) may be made convergent if desired.
